There are two small dents in this garage door resulting from wind driven debris.  Small dents and pings on a dirty door can be difficult to see since the light doesn't refract off of dirty surfaces very well.  It is sometimes easier to inspect the garage door from the inside.  This can also be true of aluminum patio covers.

In this particular case, the door was painted to match the adjacent siding.  When the door is replaced the siding will also need to be repainted.
